Energy Facts
We use energy to do everything. There are many different types of energy but they can be divided into two main types: kinetic energy and potential energy. Kinetic energy is energy in motion. Potential energy is energy stored in an object at rest. Energy cannot be created or destroyed but it can be transferred from one body to the next.
